As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, Total Energy Management is recognized as the top supplier of Carrier products in the nation. In 2020, TEM was awarded the Carrier’s Presidents award for the 6th time. The President’s award is Carriers top recognition for dealers who exemplify leadership and management, customer satisfaction, expertise, business growth and operational excellence.
Total Energy Management has proudly served the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas for over 35 years. In 1984, Roger DeWitt started TEM as a 5-employee refrigeration company. Roger’s two sons, Brad and Aaron, joined the family business in the mid 90’s and put the company’s growth into motion. Roger laid the foundation, and his children took it from there and expanded TEM into what it is today.
The three of them were in the business together for several years when Aaron and Brad bought the company from their father in 2010. Both boys joined TEM bringing with them diverse backgrounds in the electrical technology and engineering fields. This allowed TEM to expand its services to include electrical, instrumentation and controls. Today, the company has vastly expanded its offerings with the support of over 130 employees and a new facility to accommodate its growth.
TEM has long preached a “Family First” mentality to its employees and the community. We pride ourselves in being involved in our community in a variety of areas. Whether it’s our Holiday Giving or fundraising through our TEM Charitable Giving Foundation, TEM recognizes the importance of being able to give back to the community that it has been a part of for over 36 years.
Customer service is priority number 1 at TEM and the foundation for the company’s success. Our priority is to exceed consumer and client expectations.
As a 2nd generation family-owned business, Integrity has to be at the top of the priority list. TEM prides itself on providing exceptional services and solutions to our diversified client base in all the market segments we serve. Standing behind our products and services is a top priority and the repeat business and customers are proof to this belief.
Total Energy Management’s mission is to exceed consumer and client expectations and needs by utilizing innovative thinking and problem-solving techniques. We will continue to evolve and advance with technology to maintain a frontline approach to customer service and consumer needs. We are committed to providing highly qualified employees by empowering our staff to grow professionally and personally through ongoing training and support. Finally, we will adhere to the highest standards of honesty and ethical behavior toward our valued consumers, employees, suppliers, and the community.
Total Energy Management has always taken pride in the community in which we live and do business. TEM’s community involvement includes sponsoring families in need during the Christmas season, participating in food drives for local food banks, coats for kids and sponsoring many different local youth sports teams. We have always strived to give back to our community and this spirit of giving is what led to the formation of the TEM Charitable Giving Foundation. (501c3)
Under this foundation, TEM started an annual softball tournament where every penny raised goes to local families that are battling cancer and in need of financial assistance. The TEM Softball Bash for Cancer took place each summer for 10 years in the early 2000’s and was reestablished in the summer of 2019. The tournament started in 2004 when the TEM Founder’s wife, Lin DeWitt became ill with Primary Liver Cancer. Lin was the catalyst behind this event, and since her passing in 2005, the TEM family has moved forward with this event with Lin in our hearts. The Bash for Cancer is a way for TEM, employees and the community to come together, have fun and support those in our community going through an unprecedented time. We are excited to continue to host this annual fundraiser for years to come and help support local families fighting cancer.
